Who Are We?

Our purpose is to support and encourage our people to be the difference in all we do and become. BIG ANT has been operating in recruitment since 2001, add in the combined experience of our team, we can demonstrate real knowledge and credibility in the Healthcare sector. We support Care Homes and Supported Living establishments in the region with experienced Healthcare Assistants and Nurses.

As a business we strive to break the mould of the orthodox employment agency, bringing personality to our service by loosening the shackles a little and being human. We fully understand the need to follow strict compliance in our industry, but they shouldn't stop us enjoying what we do, so the result is the real value we create in our relationship with you.

Why Us?

We care. It's embedded in our culture along with our values of positivity, pride and passion, which are the foundations of our business.

Our team includes colleagues with direct experience of working within the Healthcare sector, which ensures empathy is built into all that we do and supports our approach in identifying the best Healthcare Assistants and Nurses that suit each workplace environment.

You can build trust in us and have the confidence that we deliver what we promise. We keep things simple but that doesn't mean we don't deliver a comprehensively quality service. We reduce your recruitment frustrations by calling you back, updating you with honest feedback and following through with what we promise.

We remain dedicated to being human in our approach with technology supporting this rather than replacing it. With this in mind, all interviews are face to face, we talk through the various steps of our onboarding process so we can support in any way you need, we visit our customers to build understanding and relationships, we speak to our customers to take bookings and update progress and we pick up the phone to book our colleagues into temp assignments. These fundamental methods ensure we can honestly say we provide a personal service.

Our out of hours are not necessarily your "out of hours"! We appreciate our standard day doesn't necessarily align with yours, so we're committed to a seamless out of office hours service that supports your shift needs.
